The scheme comprised the construction of a new 3 storey archive facility with archive stores locatesd at the two upper levels and a multi use facility at ground floor featuring reception, cafe, learning zones and exhibition space.

The internal environment is fitted with close control air conditioning monitoring temperature, humidity and pollutants to strict conditions in line with PD5454.

The installation is controlled by a comprehensive BMS system.
