The building is split in to various zones offering leisure activities, dance, media & IT, theatre, business & commerce and a chill out zone.

The facility is designed with air source heat pumps, LPHW heating, mechanical ventilation to key areas and has full access control, CCTV and is wired for full internet access and wireless communication.

The Fuse was opened to the public in June 2011.
