We were appointed to provide a full M&E design for the construction of a new Sixth Form Area in an existing courtyard at Stockport Grammar. The scheme included a new external quad area, a café area and a quiet study room for the students. As it was an old building, existing features were to be maintained but enhanced, such as the illumination of the stained glass windows.
After completing a survey and giving initial advice, we progressed with agreed concepts and developed these in to fully working drawings and detailed specification documents liaising with each member of the design team to ensure compatibility.
We then provided support during the construction phase by undertaking site inspections and offering design back up and assistance with M&E activities.
