We were appointed by Sigmatex as the M&E Consultants for the production of their new 250,000 sq. ft Industrial Unit used for the production of specially woven carbon fibres.
The challenge on this scheme was to manage the air flow rate through the facility to provide sufficient ventilation whilst capturing air borne carbon fibre. The lighting design was also extremely important as it had to enable the very fine carbon fibres to be seen as they were threaded on to the machines.
