This project consisted of the refurbishment and extension of the Great Sankey Leisure Centre which adjoins the Great Sankey High School.

It is split into three phases. Phase one being a two storey structure which involves the refurbishment and extension of the swimming pool to incorporate new swimming facilities, wet changing facilities, sauna/steam, main entrance concourse, cafe, library, break-out, retail space, offices, stores, WC's, shower facilities and stairwells. This phase also incorporates ground floor switchroom, swimming pool plantroom and first floor mechanical services plantroom.

Phase two shall extend and adjoin phase one which incorporates another reception, pharmacy, consulting room, utility rooms (clean and dirty), studios, and refurbishment of existing sports hall, spin studio and changing facilities.

Phase three is the section of space between the refurbishment sports hall and swimming pool area and is two stories incorporating conference rooms, a childcare area, offices and spa area.
