The Kirkby Centre was a refurbishment scheme built in a number of phases with members of the public using the building in certain areas throughout the programme.

The scheme is in the centre of Kirkby town and has limited space around it to immobilise and set up a construction compound. Services had to be designed to facilitate each phase and had to be operational in sections.

The front entrance was remodelled and the entire external faced was modernised. Our works included the new external feature lighting and signage.

The Kirkby Centre as its now known accommodates a Library, Gallery, Local history archive, One Stop Shop, Kirkby’s Knowsley Works team, Adult Disability Day Service, Community meeting rooms, Poco Coffee shop, Changing Places, changing and toilet facilities
