Overview
The works involved modernisation of facilities across the clubhouse, including entrance lobby, dining areas, members’ bars, kitchen, offices, changing rooms, and the Gilbey Suite. Externally, new electric vehicle charging provision was included. SHA’s scope extended to the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and client demonstration of all services, with specifications prepared to guide contractors through a fully coordinated package.

M&E Solution
Mechanical systems included heating, hot and cold water services, soils and wastes, ventilation, sanitaryware, and associated builders works, supported by testing, commissioning, and full O&M documentation. Electrical works covered incoming mains and sub-mains distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, small power, data and telecoms, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, external lighting, EV charging, and lightning protection. A new platform lift was also specified, designed for full DDA compliance, supplied, installed, tested, and commissioned with 12 months’ maintenance. All services were designed and specified in accordance with current regulations, CIBSE guidance, and client requirements.
