Overview
The Birkenhead Central Station project involved the conversion of the existing staff locker room on the second floor into a modern office environment for Merseyrail employees. The scheme has been carefully designed to repurpose the existing facilities into functional, efficient, and comfortable workspaces while ensuring compliance with current building regulations and operational requirements. The works were delivered within a live rail environment, requiring careful planning and phasing to minimise disruption to daily operations and maintain continuity of adjacent facilities. We were appointed to deliver the full Stage 4 mechanical and electrical specifications for the project.
