The scheme comprised the construction of a new build extension and the refurbishment of the existing A&E department to create an ‘Urgent Care and Trauma Centre’

Extensive survey work and preparation was necessary to enable a portion of the existing building to be demolished whilst the A&E department remained in occupation.

All of the services were designed to comply with NHS Model Engineering Specifications and HTM documentation.
