New Project Wins, New Babies and Virtual Race Days – An Update From SHA.

Steven Hunt and Associates 2019 001 smaller
Following guidance from the Government allowing people to return to work safely and socially distanced from 1st August, the team here at Steven Hunt & Associates have now returned to work in our offices in Liverpool.

It has been a challenging time for the industry with more inevitable obstacles ahead of us, but, for now, it is business as usual and we are here ready to help you. Our team are happy to catch up virtually or over a coffee (socially distanced of course) so if you have a project we can assist you with, please contact us today.

Despite the hardships of the last few months, we have experienced some highs which have got us through the lows.  Read on to find out what we have been up to over lock down.

New Project Wins

We have been appointed on some exciting schemes during the lock down.

Stoddart House, Aintree University Hospital, Contract Value £5M
Our client, Aintree University Hospital, is refurbishing an existing building to become a 70 bed ward which will be future proofed to be an isolation facility in the case of another pandemic. We are delivering full duties for the scheme which is being built by BAM Construction.

Cobalt Assisted Living, Langholm, Liverpool. Contract Value £5M
Cobalt Housing is constructing a three storey, 58 apartment extra care facility in Liverpool. We have been appointed to provide outline drawings and performance brief specifications ready to hand over to the contractor at RIBA stage 4.

Theater refurbishments at The Christie NHS Hospital, Contract Value £3M
We were appointed by The Christie to deliver design works for the refurbishment of a number its theaters and wards to make them operational to deal with the backlog of procedures put on hold due to the Coronavirus lock down.

No Aintree Races? No Problem!

A global pandemic was not going to stop us from enjoying our annual trip to Aintree Races... well, not completely anyway.

On Grand National Day, our Head of BD, Anne King, rounded up her industry colleagues and told them to take a selfie in their hats to celebrate what would of been race day, albeit from home, but certainly in style!

Our Business Development Manager, Rosie Davis, kept busy whilst she was furloughed by volunteering in her local pharmacy to deliver prescriptions to the elderly and vulnerable community. Great work Rosie!
