Revit
As one of the first M&E practices in the UK to work with Revit, we have seen outstanding results – with a measurably more efficient workflow, reduced need for re-works and amendments, improved clash detection and the ability to evaluate lighting conditions and solar studies.
Revit works with our Building Information Modelling (BIM) programme, to link all the information from all the parties involved in the construction project, and create a 3D digital model of the finished building.
This information-rich model allows us to create much more detailed plans and sections and more accurate schedules, material take-offs, construction details and presentation drawings.
So if, for example, a designer moves a wall on a plan, Revit automatically revises all the elevations, sections, schedules and take-offs. Which means informed decisions can be made at the earliest stages of the construction process, saving costly delays further down the line.
